River House
- Until April 2022, River House was home to the Revenue offices in Limerick. It is located beside the Abbey River on Charlotte’s Quay.
- Legend has it that the Abbey River separated King George and his wife Queen Charlotte, giving the parallel quays the names George’s Quay and Charlotte’s Quay.
- This site was one of 26 listed venues for the 22nd edition of EVA in 1998, curated by Paul M. O’Reilly (b. 1934, USA).
- The 1998 edition was the most expansive in EVA’s history in terms of number of venues and artists.
- That year, Jonathan Horowitz (b. 1966, USA) exhibited a five-part video series titled Interracial Buddies at various different venues.
