31 Nicholas Street
- Nicholas Street is located in the medieval area of Limerick city, once called Englishtown.
- Various businesses have operated out of this site, including a second hand furniture shop, a Tourism Hub, a Cafe and a Polish supermarket.
- This site was one of seventeen venues used for the 40th EVA International Biennial in 2023, curated by Sebastian Chichocki and titled The Gleaners Society.
- Screened at this venue was Diane Severin Nguyen’s IF REVOLUTION WAS A SICKNESS (2021), A film that follows the character of a Vietnamese child who grows up to be absorbed into a South Korean pop-inspired dance group. The spectacle is disrupted by the voice over culled from various and often contradictory writings on political revolution by Hannah Arendt, Ulrike Meinhof and Mao Zedong among others.
