Formerly known as Doswell Print Gallery
- Nicholas Street is located in the medieval area of Limerick city, once called Englishtown.
- This site was one of 19 listed venues for the 26th edition of EVA in 2002, curated by Apinan Poshyananda (b. 1956, Thailand) and titled heroes + villains.
- In 2002, Karin Ludmann (b. 1971, Germany) exhibited a mixed-media installation titled Urban Soil (Aushhub) (2002), consisting of a pile of earth in an otherwise empty space in the building.
- 23 Nicholas Street also temporarily housed Chris Doswell’s Print Gallery, one of the 16 listed venues for the 22nd edition of EVA in 2001, curated by Salah M. Hassan (b. 1964, Sudan) with Iftikhar Dadi (b. 1982, Pakistan).
