Skip to content- This two-storey red-brick building was built in the late 19th century on a largely Georgian streetscape just off Pery Square.
- It is situated on Barrington Street, a street named after the Limerick Barrington family, who are best remembered for the founding of Barrington’s Hospital in 1829, and previous owners of what is now called Glenstal Abbey.
- This site was one of 14 listed venues for the 19th edition of EVA in 1995, curated by María de Corral (b. 1940, Spain).
- María de Corral selected a wide number of non-arts venues for the 19th edition, including a dentist’s office, a solicitor’s office, a framing shop and a courthouse.
- Two artists, David Farrell (b. 1961, Ireland) and David Redmond (Ireland), exhibited at this venue.
