Limerick Art Centre
Formerly known as Limerick Printmakers
- Built in the 19th century, this large and imposing six-storey limestone warehouse is a former corn store. It serves as a reminder of the rich corn industry in Georgian Limerick.
- In more recent history, it housed the Limerick Printmakers, which is a local printmaking studio providing specialist equipment, studio spaces, an educational programme and support for artists. Currently it is not in use.
- This site was one of 26 listed venues for the 22nd edition of EVA in 1998, curated by Paul M. O‘Reilly (b. 1934, Ireland).
- At this venue, John Aiken (b. 1950, Ireland) exhibited his photographic work Portrait in Cities – Luxembourg (1997).
