Formerly known as Brazen Heads Sports Bar, Teds Bar & Venue
- The site of a bar and restaurant that has undergone numerous name changes, 102 O’Connell Street has been used by EVA in multiple editions.
- The venue was consistently used to present video works, including works by Gabriella Carlsson (b. 1968, Sweden), Victoria Hall (b. 1975 Ireland), Maeve Connolly (b. 1953, Ireland) and Peter Fischli (b. 1952, Switzerland) and David Weiss (b. 1946, Switzerland; d. 2012).
- In 2001, it was one of 16 venues for the 25th edition of EVA International, curated by Salah M. Hassan (b. 1964, Sudan) with Iftikhar Dadi (b. 1982, Pakistan), exhibiting Football Match Drawing (1999). The video work by Victoria Hall (b. 1975, Ireland) shows the artist’s attempt to draw the live movement of a football during a match while listening to the match’s radio commentary.
