O’Connell Street Mall
- The O’Connell Street Mall existed on the site of the former Woolworths store in Limerick city centre.
- The mall contained a number of retail outlets, one of which was used as a venue for the 20th edition of EVA in 1996, curated by Guy Tortosa (b. 1961, France).
- The street where the mall was located was originally named George’s Street and renamed O’Connell Street in remembrance of the 19th-century political leader Daniel O’Connell.
- Here, Gary Somers (b. 1969) exhibited an installation of functioning air fresheners with different scents and colours.
