This convenience store is located on Catherine Street in Limerick city centre.

Catherine Street is reputedly named after Catherine Unthank, a Quaker and member of the Pery family, a prominent Limerick family.

Today the street is home to many shops, bars, restaurants, and the EVA headquarters.

In 1999, this site was one of nine listed venues for the 23rd edition of EVA, curated by Jeanne Greenberg Rohatyn (b. 1967, USA).

Here Joyce Duffy (b. 1957, Ireland) exhibited a video work titled 

, exploring systems of value and the ways that art history positions women.
